NASA Task Load Index (Raw TLX)
Six dimensions of perceived workload rated on 0–100 scales. Scored as Raw TLX, the unweighted mean.
Score many respondents at once
Use one row per respondent and one column per item (Q1…Q6), with raw responses from 0 to 100. An optional first column called id labels each row. Comma, semicolon and tab separated files all work.

When to use it
Complex, high-stakes or time-pressured tasks: dashboards, operational tools, medical and industrial interfaces.
How it is scored
- Each dimension is rated from 0 to 100 in steps of 5 (21 marks, as in the paper form).
- Raw TLX is the mean of the six ratings. Hart (2006) reviews evidence that it performs comparably to the weighted version.
- Note the Performance scale runs from Perfect (0) to Failure (100), so on every dimension lower means less workload.
