User Experience Questionnaire – Short
Eight-item version of the UEQ that reports Pragmatic Quality, Hedonic Quality and an Overall value.
Score many respondents at once
Use one row per respondent and one column per item (Q1…Q8), with raw responses from 1 to 7. An optional first column called id labels each row. Comma, semicolon and tab separated files all work.

When to use it
In-product surveys or repeated measurement where the full UEQ is too long.
How it is scored
- Answers are transformed to −3 … +3. All UEQ-S pairs start with the negative term.
- Pragmatic Quality = mean of items 1–4, Hedonic Quality = mean of items 5–8, Overall = mean of all 8.
- Values between −0.8 and +0.8 are neutral, above +0.8 positive, below −0.8 negative.
