User Experience Questionnaire
26 semantic-differential pairs across six scales, from Attractiveness to Novelty, with a public benchmark of 468 products.
Score many respondents at once
Use one row per respondent and one column per item (Q1…Q26), with raw responses from 1 to 7. An optional first column called id labels each row. Comma, semicolon and tab separated files all work.

When to use it
When you care about the whole experience, not only usability, and want to benchmark against other products.
How it is scored
- Each answer is transformed to −3 (most negative) … +3 (most positive). Half the pairs start with the positive term and are reversed.
- Scale scores are item means. Values between −0.8 and +0.8 are read as neutral (UEQ handbook).
- Benchmark categories (Excellent, Good, Above average, Below average, Bad) use the general UEQ benchmark published in the handbook.
- The handbook advises reporting the six scales separately rather than a single overall number.
